MY REFLECTION ON TYPES OF CLASSROOM ASSESSMENT

As a learner, if I am aware of different types of assessment used in the school I could have asked my teachers of their detailed planned of the subjects for each semester so that I was guided of what they want to teach us. Making sure also if they have tackled what was planned in reference to their learning objectives if it was aligned with the developed strategies.

I think all types of assessment were utilized but I am not aware only if it is informal, formal, formative and summative assessment. That, I was not sure also if assessment was matching with the objectives those times.

In the beginning of the class semester, our teachers just fun of introducing once self and informed us the book they were using including the author but never gave us course outline, syllabus or lesson planned. I really tried to remember it if it was done.

Teachers can influence in the utilization of assessment in the school. They have the all means to it in their authority inside the classroom. They have to implement it what was planned or revised it as really appropriate. But they have also to consider the types of assessment inside the classroom are aligned for each in every defined objective so that it is more productive and meaningful to the students learning.

Teachers should think over and over again about their teaching practices. They should analyze their teaching strategies and method. They should think how can be improved and revised for better learning results.
